Elad Larom (1976), an Italian and Israeli artist who resides Tel Aviv, works prinicpally with painting, in addition to video, animation and photograpy. In 2006 Larom graduated from the se Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and in 2010 completed his masters in the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalén. He has presented his work in various exhibitions in Europe and North America. His work was included in “Tento # 2” in W139 in Amsterdam, “Bezalel” in the Tour “MICA” in the Corcoran Gallery and the Maltz Museum in the United States and the Kunstlerhaus FRIZE in Hamburg. His recent individual exhibitions include “Neo Paganism” in Inga Gallery in Tel Aviv, "Smoke Screen" in International Studio & Curatorial Program in New York, and “I, Walid Lacham” in the New and Bad Gallery of Haifa in Israel. Larom has been the recipient of a special award from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem and another from the Nederlands Fonds for his artistic work in film.
